Heartland Elementary School

Centrally located and easily accessible, Heartland Elementary has been serving the students of West Jordan since it opened in 1987. The school boundaries run from 1700 West to the Jordan River, and between 6600 South and 7800 South. The original Heartland Elementary was built to relieve overcrowding at Riverside and Majestic Elementary schools. That building closed its doors for the last time on June 6, 2007 so it could be rebuilt to better meet the needs of the students and community. The brand new Heartland Elementary building began serving students at the beginning of the 2008-09 school year.
